Chapter 1
Making an account, downloading and installing Carvect Pro, the trial, buying a license and getting it onto your computers, and keeping the application up to date.
Chapter 2
The Home page, the ribbon and its four stages, the panels either side, the 2D and 3D views, projects and files, preferences and the built-in help.
Chapter 3
The machine, the piece of stock, the cutters and the materials. Everything later in a job is measured from what is entered here, so it comes first.
Chapter 4
Drawing and importing the shapes the toolpaths will follow, and editing, arranging and checking them.
Chapter 5
Bringing in an STL model, turning it face up, sizing it, deciding how deep it sits in the stock, and slicing a model too tall to cut in one piece.
Chapter 6
How a toolpath is made, the settings every one shares, each 2D, carving and 3D strategy in turn, and managing the list of operations.
Chapter 7
Watching the job carve on screen, taking the waste away to see the part, and the checks worth running before the file goes to the machine.
Chapter 8
Writing the G-code file, what the export window offers, double-sided jobs, and running a new job safely at the machine.
Chapter 9
What to check when something does not work as expected, how to reach us, and the keyboard shortcuts.
